YEREVAN. – Armenia’s economic activity index (EAI) for 2017 was 7.7 percent, which is the highest recorded indicator since 2011, when the calculation of the country’s EAI had started.
The double-digit growth rates, which are almost always recorded in Armenia’s industry, trade and services, have contributed to this EAI, the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The highest—25.2-percent—growth in the past six years was recorded also in the country’s exports.
