Armenia’s debt makes $3 bn. By the end of 2010 it will reach $3.3 bn, while next year – $3.7 bn. However, even in this case Armenia is considered a country with medium debt and serving it   will not be a heavy burden for the country, Gagik Minasyan, chairman of the finance and budget committee, RA Parliament, said at today’s press conference.

“Debt will reach 47-48% of GDP. Trade turnover is definitely a key factor, as we should purchase enough currency to serve the debt. However, whatever happens we face considerable risks. From the viewpoint of external debt Armenia is a country having small or medium debt,” he added.
