Counsellor of the German Embassy in Turkey Thomas Eberhard Schulz was attacked.

As the Turkish broadcaster TRT reports, the incident occurred at a petrol station. Group of hooligans to 7-8 people, including girls, were chasing Schultz car with him and his wife in it.

Counsellor of the Germany Embassy decided to escape from his pursuers at a petrol station. However, that did not stop the hooligans, and one of them stabbed Schultz in a thigh causing a deep cut.
An ambulance arrived at the scene and transferred the Counsellor to the hospital.
