Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobaliya stated that real investments are expected from Azerbaijan and Turkey next year.
“These countries are our first trade partners,” she noted, adding that Israel is also interested in making investments in Georgia, GHN reported.
“We are also working with the European countries, U.S. and Canada,” she stressed. According to the Georgian Minister, they are trying to cooperate with Asia. China, India and South Korea are the countries Georgia is interested in as well.
According to plan, amount of foreign investments in Georgia should reach $1bn. However, only $272 m was received, Georgian Statistics Department of Statistics reported.
