Two rounds are left at the Reggio Emilia chess tournament held in Italy. With two rounds to go five players are within half a point off the lead, chess.co.uk reported.

One of the key games of the seventh round was Alexander Morozevich vs. Sergey Movsesyan which ended in a draw. Nigel Short beat Michele Gondena, while David Navara defeated Vassily Ivanchuk. Alexander Onischuk and Fabiano Caruana also ended their match in a draw.

Vugar Gashimov defeated tournament’s leader Francisco Vallejo, presently both have 4.5 points. Movsesyan, Onischuk and Navara are all on 4.
