The death toll in Iranian plane crash reached 77.

According to official data, 26 people were injured, 1 remains missing.

There were 106 people on board Boeing 727 plane, RFE/RL reports.

As NEWS.am reported previously, on January 9, an Iranian Air Boeing 727 passenger aircraft crashed in bad weather in northwestern Iran. The passenger jet broke to pieces on impact while trying an emergency landing in a snowstorm. The plane was heading from Tehran to the city of Urumiyeh.

There were no Armenian citizens aboard the plane.
