RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan signed a decree December 30, 2010, launching the program “Comprehensive corruption control actions in the education system” approved by the RA Government. The e-version of the program was sent out to all the local and international organizations that launched education activities in Armenia. The ministry was ready to discuss their proposals.

The press service of the RA Ministry of Education and Science informed NEWS.am that the discussion was organized by the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs, RA Parliament, The discussions were held with the participation of the Heritage faction, RA Public Council members, Council of Rectors of Armenia’s state-run higher schools, as well as at the meetings of the Ministry Board and student unions.

The ministry received 180 proposals, which were summed up and incorporated in the program.
