On January 11, a total of U.S. $10.2 million were sold at the NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange at an exchange rate of 364.44 AMD/U.S. $1. The exchange rate at the close of the trading was 364 AMD/U.S. $1. The exchange rate may have stabilized due to the CBA injection.

AMD devaluation immediately followed the New Year holidays, when the stock exchange resumed activities on January 10. During the New Year holidays the exchange rate ranged within 360-365 AMD/U.S. $1. The stock exchange appears to be the only trading floor that causes exchange fluctuations and uncertainty.
