About 350,000 Armenians reside in Ukraine making significant contribution to economic and political development of the country, Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Ukhta said during the meeting with Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan.

The sides discussed issues related to cooperation between Yerevan and Ukrainian cities, city hall press service informed NEWS.am. Karen Karapetyan noted that the agreements on cooperation between Yerevan, Kiev and Odessa have been already reached. The Ambassador presented new models of buses and trolleybuses produced by the Ukrainian “Bogdan” factory. According to him, in the near future leadership of the factory intends to discuss issues related to export of its production to Armenia with Yerevan Mayor. In his turn Karen Karapetyan said that Yerevan city hall plans to elaborate a new model of transport management in the capital.
