Exhibition in the frames of “Signs of Identity/Signs of Diversity” project opened on December 13 in the Latvian city of Daugavpils.

The project is aimed at creation of mosaic panel by artists from 7 countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and France). The artists are to express national roots and everything that unites them in common work.

Each artist worked on two mosaics within 5 days. One of them, “Signs of Identity”, is to express national and cultural identity of each participant, whereas “Signs of Diversity” symbolizes dialogue of different cultures, diversity of forms and is a piece of a general mosaic panel.

The project is implemented under aegis of UNESCO, the exhibition will last till the end of February.
