New staff changes are expected in Yerevan City Hall, Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan said at a conference on January 17. According to him, the plan of replacement will be submitted for discussion to Council of Alderman of Yerevan.

According to the information at NEWS.am’s disposal, the Mayor nominated several candidates who will soon assume positions.  The appointment of new professional personnel is of vital importance to increase the efficiency of the City Hall’s activities.

Besides three deputy mayors Taron Margaryan, Kamo Areyan and Vardan Vardanyan, another deputy will also be appointed, who will coordinate financial issues.

Vahe Stepanyan is rumored to be appointed Secretary of Staff of Yerevan City Hall. Michael Hasratyan will be appointed Chief Architect of Yerevan.  The newly appointed mayor is to establish a new position, namely “Chief Designer of Yerevan”.
