Azerbaijan plans to double gas export to Russia in 2011.
The country plans to export 1.5 bcm of gas to the north, this year, said Khoshbakht Yusifzade SOCAR Vice President for Geology and Geophysics.
According to him, Siyazan Compressor Station was reconstructed, APA agency reports.
Azerbaijan has exported 799.8 mcm of gas in 2010.
