RA Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan is sure that consolidation and expansion of agricultural economies is the best way of agricultural development. Specifically, small land plots in the Ararat valley complicate mechanization and lending.

"The future is in the expansion of agricultural economies," the Minister said.

The Minister gives assurances that the initiative will not be imposed on farmers. They are free to purchase land. The agricultural cooperation development program in 40 communities is one of the steps.
