Iran welcomes stability, peace and security in Armenia, spokesperson for Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said.

“For the Islamic Republic of Iran, its neighbors and their peace, stability and security have always been the top priority,” Qassemi said on Saturday.

He also commended the Armenian parliament's election of a new prime minister for the country, Press TV   reported.

Qassemi also expressed Iran’s readiness to strengthen relations with Armenia in all fields.
