According to the information at Aravot daily’s disposal, Armenian Parliament intends to nominate Shuashan Doydoyan for the post of Armenian Ombudsman.

Doydoyan is Director of “Centre of Information Freedom” and teaches at Yerevan State University. She received a philological and legal education.

As NEWS.am reported previously, Armenian Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan is going to announce his resignation, as he is to be appointed Representative of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights in Central Asia.
