In connection with the Domodedovo blast, the Armenian Embassy in Russia is working in emergency conditions, Gevorg Minasyan, Press Secretary of the Embassy, told Armenian News-NEWS.am. He reported that Armenian Ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan convened a special meeting half an hour ago.
"We are now trying to find out whether Armenian citizens or Armenians were at the airport during the blast. The Embassy is in touch with Armavia Airline and law-enforcers. No information is yet available," Minasyan said.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, blast rocked Moscow`s Domodedovo airport on Monday. According to preliminary information, death toll reached 31. Another 130 people were injured in the suicide bombing, Russian news agencies reported.
