A Georgian delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Defense Nodar Kharshiladze was on a visit to Armenia January 24 and 25.

The Armenian defense office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Armenian First Deputy minister of Defense D. Tonoyan held a meeting with his Georgian counterpart January 24. The meeting was followed by an enlarged meeting.

The sides underlined the importance of bilateral cooperation in military education and peacemaking operations, exchange of experience in reforming national armies.

The Georgian delegation visited the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Institute and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan held a meeting with Nodar Kharshiladze on January 25. The sides discussed issues of mutual interest.
