A strong 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia’s Sumatra province on January 26. According to US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake epicenter was 255 km south-west of Medan city at the depth of 22.5 kilometers, RBK reports.
No immediate reports of damage and tsunami warning were issued.
