If Azerbaijan pays great sum of money to Georgia, the latter may sell the Georgian part of Armenia-Russia gas pipeline, Alexander Khramchikhin, Institute for Political and Military Analysis, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“This is not a fundamental problem for Georgia. If Georgia really intends to sell the gas section, I think money issues will play a decisive role. It will be sold to the one, who will offer more favorable terms,” the expert stressed.

Khramchikhin considered it unlikely the possible purchase of the gas section by Russia. “The relations between Russia and Georgia are strained. The two states are almost at a cold war. Another factor preventing Georgia from selling the gas section to Azerbaijan may be its desire not to finally spoil relations with Armenia,” the military expert emphasized.
