Under U.S. court decision, all properties located in the center of Washington, purchased and donated by Gerard Cafesjian, will be returned to the Cafesjian Family Foundation (CFF).

The Voice of America reported decision by Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly is a significant victory for Gerard Cafesjian in over 3-year long legal battle for the project of construction of the Armenian Genocide Museum. All accusations against Gerard Cafesjian and the Cafesjian Family Foundation were dismissed. The ruling reinstated CFF on the board of the Armenian Genocide Museum & Memorial. Legal fees of Cafesjian will be compensated as well.

The verdict was passed after open court hearings were held last November.
