A 0.12% USD depreciation was registered in Armenia this January, 363.44 AMD/U.S. $1 down to 363.02 AMD/U.S. $1.

The situation in the other CIS member-countries was as follows: a 2.04% USD revaluation in Georgia; a 0.66% revaluation in Uzbekistan; a 0.37% revaluation in Belarus; a 0.36% revaluation in Kyrgyzstan.

On the other hand, USD depreciation was registered in the other countries: an 0.01% depreciation in Tajikistan; a 0.16% depreciation in Azerbaijan; 0.27% in Ukraine; 0.45% in Kazakhstan; 1.43% in Moldova; 2.41% in Estonia; 2.65% in Russia; 3.46% in Lithuania; 4.3% in Latvia, BelaPAN reports.

Also, a 9.4% inflation rate was registered in Armenia last year. The situation in the other CIS member-countries was as follows: Kyrgyzstan (19.2%); Georgia (11.2%); Belarus (9.9%); Tajikistan (9.8%); Ukraine (9.1%); Russia (8.8%); Moldova (8.1%); Kazakhstan (7.8%); Uzbekistan (7.3%); Estonia (5.7%); Turkmenistan (4.8%); Lithuania (3.8%) and Latvia (2.5%).

Last December, the second highest price rise was registered in Armenia (1.8%), Kyrgyzstan being the leader (2.4%).
