The Azerbaijani opposition demands pulling down of monument to Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak located in the Azerbaijani city of Khirdalan. According to local ANS TV, a platform of the monument located in Egypt Park is cordoned. A monument to the 3rd Egypt’s pharaoh Tutmos and other famous Egyptians are situated in the territory of the park.
Khirdalan and Egyptian Kalubeya are twin towns.
