The International Exhibition of Books and Press is one of the top notch events to be held in the industry relating to books and press in Switzerland, Nouvelles d`Arménie reports.
Far more than just an exhibition or simply a bookshop, it is a vibrant event, made up of encounters, discoveries and discussions, bringing together some 100,000 people: authors, editors, booksellers, distributors, journalists and other players in the world of the written word, culture and the media, and of course, visitors of all ages.
From Friday 29 April to Tuesday 3 May, it will be celebrating its 25th anniversary - and combining tradition with some major innovations.
The enormous popular success of the Geneva Book Fair is due, in particular, to the wealth and diversity of its programme: debates, conferences, interviews, encounters, signings, literary awards, readings, viewings, workshops, etc.
Armenia will also be presented at the event with its vast cultural heritage, as a guest of honor.
