According to the FY 2010 Annual Report on Intercountry Adoptions released by the U.S. Department of State, a total of 11,059 visas were issued to children adopted by U.S. citizens.
In 2010, U.S. citizens adopted 18 Armenian children.
U.S. citizens also adopted children from other post-Soviet states.
