Calls for mass demonstrations have been recently spread via Internet in Syria, Al Jazeera TV company reported.

Revolutionists are using social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The most popular Facebook page dedicated to the day of rage was liked by 13,000 people.

The users are urged to gather near Syrian parliament on Friday to voice protest against corruption and limitations to political freedom and human rights.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has announced he will push for more political reforms in his country.  The government has already allocated a large amount to provide needy families with financial assistance.

The recent developments in Tunis and Egypt made governments of Jordan and Yemen think about reforms.
