YEREVAN. – Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan is in Armenia, his lawyer Aram Orbelyan told Armenian News- NEWS.am.
According to him, there are reportedly technical problems that are being regulated at the moment.
“There is reasonable suspicion that the possibility of leaving the country is closed for Robert Kocharyan, and now we find out whether that is true or not, and how justified it is. The investigators verbally confirmed that there are no problems, but, considering the previous practice, we assume that there is a restriction,” said Aram Orbelyan.
According to him, the ex-president will head to Germany to undergo medical examination.
