A report released by the Ministry of Territorial Administration says that 12.7% of agricultural lands are not used in Armenia. Last year, the ministry conducted monitoring of privatized but unused lands in Armenian communities. The monitoring results showed that 57,000 of the 425,000 hectares of lands were not used.
