A criminal case was initiated in the second garrison of NKR Defense Army Investigative department on charges of the Armenian soldier’s killing, a senior representative of Armenian Defense Ministry Mery Sargsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, a forensic examination will be carried out. Sargsyan stressed no one has yet been detained. However, the investigation is underway.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, on February 6, Armenian conscript soldier Gevorg Kotinyan (born in 1992) was killed in an incident in one of the units of Nagorno-Karabakh defense army located in the southern direction.
