It is very hard to talk when you are driving along the roads of war, Yelena Semerikova, chairwoman of the Russian Women's dialogue party, said during a visit to one of the combat positions of Karabakh Republic together with other participants of Women for Peace campaign.
At the same time, the party’s chairman refused to give an assessment of which side of the conflict was “right” and “guilty”. She also added that when Anna Hakobyan announced the launch of this action, she considered it her duty to take part in it.
“This is a duty, first of all, to mothers, women, and I would like to turn to Mrs. Aliyeva. She is also a mother, she is a wonderful grandmother, but she is also a politician - a wise responsible politician ... Today we have to save every human life, ”said Yelena Semerikova.
According to the politician, women from Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Moldova and Transnistria will also join the initiative, since no one wants to lose their children.
