The Governing Council, Millennium Challenge Account-Armenia (MCA-Armenia), held a meeting February 11. The meeting was presided over by RA Prime Minister, Council Chairman Tigran Sargsyan.  

CEO Ara Hovsepyan presented a final draft plan of closing the MCA-Armenia program. The draft was revised and improved by local and U.S. experts. The Council approved the final plan, the Armenian Government`s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Council discussed and approved a revised plan of purchases, as well as draft amendments to Lot-2 of the second package of canal construction and contracts for renovation of 17 pump stations signed as part of the irrigated agriculture infrastructure component.  

The Council approved draft amendments to contracts for the purchase of heavy machinery signed as part of the water-to-market component of the Irrigated Agriculture subprogram.

The Council also discussed draft amendments to the contract for drainage system restoration in the Ararat valley.
