On February 13, Turkish President Abdullah Gul arrived on a four-day official visit to Tehran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi met Gul at the airport.

President Ahmadinejad will officially welcome his Turkish counterpart on February 14, IRNA reports.

The Turkish President will discuss bilateral, regional and international issues with top officials of the country.
