A child has died in a hospital in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

According to shamshyan.com, a Yerevan resident informed the police that a 5-year-old, who was diagnosed with acute meningoencephalitis and was undergoing treatment at the said medical, had died suddenly at the intensive care unit of this hospital.

The police officers who were dispatched to the hospital found out that the child’s name was Aleks Hambardzumyan.

The aforesaid Yerevan resident told police that the little boy had died due to the hospital staff’s improper performance of their professional duties.

An autopsy has been commissioned.

The police are preparing a report on this incident.
