New wave of riots broke out in Cairo when thousands of Egyptians took to the streets demanding increase in salaries, RFE/RL reported.

About 200 policemen gathered in Tahrir Square in solidarity with the protestors accusing former interior minister of split between people and police. Many of the demonstrators are carrying pictures of policemen killed in clashes.

Egypt’s Council of Armed Forces assuming the power has announced its intention to dismiss the cabinet and annual constitution adopted by Hosni Mubarak.
