Tehran has launched a plan to counter the negative effects of US sanctions, said the first vice-president of Iran, Eshaq Jahangiri on Tuesday.
“I cannot lie and say that sanctions have no effect on the country. We will do all we can to reduce the effects of the sanctions on the country’s economy,” Tasnim News reported quoting Jahangiri.
The US President Donald Trump on May 8 voiced Washington’s withdrawal from the Iranian deal and decided to re-impose sanctions on Iran.
