On February 15, the delegation headed by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin met with MPs of “Heritage” party and discussed cooperation issues.

The sides discussed Russian-Armenian strategic relations, Azerbaijan’s belligerence, as well as the necessity of bilateral cooperation within international organizations.

The parliamentarians noted that the Armenian-Russian joint enterprises are carrying out activities exploiting the uranium mine, ignoring public opinion and causing a negative impact on the environment. They also pointed out that Russia is pursuing a property acquirement policy everywhere, while its investment policy is not at a satisfactory level.

Karasain emphasized that the meeting with Armenian MPs stressed the necessity of expansion of cooperation between Armenian National Assembly and Russian State Duma.
