Armenian Vice-Premier, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan held a meeting Feb. 16 with Mr. Ahmed Eiweida, World Bank (WB). The sides discussed investment programs of reforming the drinking and irrigation water supply systems.
The press service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Chairman of the RA Water Economy Committee Andranik Andreasyan participated in the meeting.
Minister Gevorgyan stressed that harmonious territorial development is among the Armenian Government`s priorities. In this context he pointed out the importance of water supply improvement programs.
In his turn, the WB official stressed the need for infrastructure development. He said that a WB team will map out new programs during its next visit to Yerevan.
