Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with the newly appointed Georgian Ambassador to Baku Teymuraz Sharashidze. According to him, both countries have historical values and the political, economic and humanitarian spheres are at a high level.
The Ambassador noted he will step up efforts to contribute to the development of Georgia-Azerbaijan relations.
Georgia has not appointed an Ambassador to Azerbaijan for more than a year.
