The demonstrators took to the streets on Friday demanding the authorities should ban prostitution and close brothels, AFP reported. They say a Muslim woman cannot be considered a commodity.
The protestors headed to Abdallaah Guech street where one of the most popular brothels is situated. Most likely they wished to burn it, RIA Novosti reported.
