President of Nagorno-Karabakh Bako Sahakyan attended  the meeting of the diocesan council of the Artsakh See of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Shushi.

In the course of the meeting primate of the Artsakh diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan informed of the activities carried out in 2010 and plans for 2011, NKR press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

President Sahakyan noted that continuous strengthening of church-society relation was one of the focal points of  society’s harmonious development.

The participants drew attention to deepening of army-church relations.

Chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and other officials participated.
