YEREVAN. – At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, the Government of Armenia decided to terminate the activities of the Foreign Financing Projects Management Centre, as of March 31, 2019.

Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan introduced this matter at the Cabinet session. He added that, instead, a department with the respective functions will operate within the Ministry of Finance.

In his words, the development of this program was conditioned by the need to implement the government’s policy toward increasing the effectiveness of public administration system in Armenia.

“Now a task has been set to carry out a maximum consolidation of finances,” Janjughazyan added.
