YEREVAN. – It’s a good thing that the North-South [Road Corridor construction] project has not been implemented because, in this way, corruption was prevented, first and foremost.
Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the aforementioned at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the Government of Armenia.
“We [Armenia] have robbed the project [over the course of these years],” Pashinyan stated. “[But] we [the new Armenian government] have a political approach, and we will implement it.”
Also, Pashinyan stressed that today there was a process of salary increase within the public administration system in Armenia.
“In addition, we haven’t made [any] changes in the base salary,” the acting PM highlighted.
