The gas prices is outside the competence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan told reporters on Thursday.

“It is outside competence of MFA. But I can say that Acting Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan commented in this regard and said that talks are continuing,” the spokeswoman said.

As 168 Zham (Hour) newspaper reported earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak has sent a letter to Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.

He noted that the price of Russian natural gas shall be $215 per 1,000 cubic meters, on the border, and this is not subject to discussion.
