It is the right time for Armenia to withdraw its signature from the Armenian-Turkish protocols, said the member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun.

Giro Manoyan, Head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office, noted Turkey’s recent conduct proved Ankara will not ratify the protocols as long as the Karabakh issue is unresolved.

“Last April when suspending the ratification process, Armenian President announced signature will not be withdrawn so far.  It is clear that “so far” has a precise term. I believe it is approaching. It is an assumption but taking into account the recent statements of the president, especially one made in Cyprus, one can conclude the Armenian leader thinks the time is coming,” Manoyan said.

He also noted that Turkey is trying at any cost to do so that the pressure on Armenia is increased for Yerevan not to withdraw from the Armenian-Turkish process.
