He urged Gaddafi to bow to nation’s demands, FARS agency reports. “How can one shoot his own people?” he said.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, violent clashes between the protestors and police broke out in the Libyan city of Benghazi on February 25. The demonstrators protest against Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s regime, who has been in power for more than 40 years. The turbulence has deepened as the opposition members called for protest movements via Facebook and mobile phone messages.
