Armenian Ambassador to Romania Hamlet Gasparyan met on Wednesday with president of Romanian academy of sciences Ionel Haiduc to discuss cooperation in the field of science and restore relations.

Ionel Haiduc recalled that in July 1998 the Armenian and Romanian academies of sciences signed a memorandum on carrying out joint research in physics, mathematics, engineering, chemistry, biology and humanitarian field, foreign office press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The sides also agreed to share research information through creation of a network infrastructure.
