The statement of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group is not the first one. Earlier such statements were also made, Executive Director of International Center for Human Development (ICHD), political analyst Tevan Poghosyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am, commenting on the latest statement by international mediators.

According to him, the mediators, certainly, talk about security problems, reducing escalation, trying to help reduce tensions in the conflict zone.

Pogosyan referred to the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on certain proposals made by the Azerbaijani side, which should be welcomed. However, what is at stake is not disclosed. “This means that we are not talking about a comprehensive solution to the problem. Maybe they are talking about some small steps, they are discussing, trying to work out approaches, but there is nothing in terms of resolution as a whole, ”the expert concluded.
