The USAID Competitive Armenian Private Sector Project (CAPS) has completed its activities in Armenia.

Director of CAPS Artak Ghazaryan stressed the program had to function for 5 years but was prolonged by 6 months due to its successful mission.

The program provided assistance to 500 local companies. It has developed national strategy in the fields of IT and tourism, designed program of tourism development in Jermuk resort.  

This May USAID plans to launch a new Enterprise Development and Market Competitiveness (EDMC) project in Armenia.
