Iran unveiled a new cruise missile on Saturday during celebrations marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Reuters reported. 

“This cruise missile needs a very short time for its preparedness and can fly at a low altitude,” said Defense Minister Amir Hatami.

According to him, the rocket presented is a major military achievement that demonstrates Iranian progress in the field of world military technology.

The new cruise missile has a range of 1,300 km (800 miles)
