Last year, Armenia registered the second highest inflation, 8.2%, in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Ukraine being the first (9.4% inflation). As regards the other CIS member-countries, the situation is as follows: Kyrgyzstan (8%), Belarus (7.8%), Moldova (7.4%). Russia registered 6.9% inflation last year.

GDP in terms of invariable prices showed a 6.9% decrease last year compared with 2009. GDP in terms of invariable prices showed a 4.5% increase last year. The highest GDP growth was registered in Uzbekistan (8.5%), Belarus (7%) and Kazakhstan (7.5%). Ukraine registered 4.2% annual GDP growth.
