Azerbaijan will go on with its militant rhetoric this year. But it will only be mere verbal threats, Vladimir Zakharov, Director of the Black Sea Institute of Political and Social Research, stated during a Yerevan-Moscow spacebridge, Feb. 28.
Official Baku is unlikely to start large-scale military operations. However, it will go on with sorties. Azerbaijan is reluctant to get an image of aggressor before the international community. "Do not forget, it borders on Iran, which has declared for a peaceful settlement of the conflict," the expert said.
